This book has stuff from other books but I think the author does a good job explaining them. Will recommend buying it. It wasn’t a waste of time or money. Good to have in your library.

Whether you are a small business owner who thinks you are too busy to spend a few of your valuable hours reading yet another book on how to be a better business person or you are a successful C-Suite executive that knows his/her business inside and out, this book has something for you. Wes weaves practical lessons, historical events, philosophical questions, anecdotes and even a bit patriotism to construct a cohesive message that should resonate with anyone that has a pulse. On the surface this book appears to be an easy read, and it is, however upon closer examination the book compels you to really assess yourself. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and hope to see more from this author.
This book is open and honest, the author writes honestly and from his heart. Great down to earth advice which seems to be obvious, but it needs to be read to internalize this authors message. Besides learning how to succeed, you will respect this author for his brutally hard work and dedication to earn his own success. After doing what he did I am sure we can succeed too.
If you are currently a business owner, or hope to be one someday, this book is an extraordinary eye opener to methods to make your business succeed that most likely have not crossed your mind. The author, Wes Berry, shares helpful information from his success in running a flower business which can translate not only to your own personal business but also achievement in life. The purpose of this book, as Wes has titled it, is to show how “Big Things Have Small Beginnings” and it does exactly that. He explains how every small part of running a business; having ambition, perseverance, great employees, for example among many other topics in the book, can lead to a BIG thing like a successful business. This book is very well written and easy to read and I believe will inspire anyone who picks it up.

Wes Berry built a $60 million-dollar international business from his family's small florist shop that at one time seemed impossible to expand from the $60 thousand annual it was bringing in. As impressive as this is, even more amazing is the fact that Wes’s initial success with the expansion of the business was sparked without using any money. The dedication Wes had and the tactics he used show what it takes to truly be successful in life and in your business.

“Set your goals, let your subconscious take control, and the next thing you'll know, the necessary tasks will present themselves.” This quote from the book struck deeply with me. Wes explains how true it is that you can do anything you set your mind to and that with a positive attitude, positivity will surround you.

This book can be for a broad range of people from young adults aspiring to open their own shop to those in their late forties who have already run a business for 20 years. If you've already read books based on tips for running a successful business and given up on them I suggest you give this one a try. I personally fall into the category of young adult aspiring to have my own business someday and this book met more than my expectations.
